Kelly E. Riley

Biography

Kelly E. Riley joined Syracuse as an Assistant General Counsel in May 2024. Kelly primarily assists with business transactions, providing strategic input and legal advice to business and academic units across campus. Prior to joining Syracuse, Kelly earned her B.S. from the State University of New York at Geneseo and graduated cum laude from the University at Buffalo School of Law, where she was an editor of the Buffalo Law Review and Buffalo Intellectual Property Law Journal. After law school, Kelly served as an Appellate Court Attorney for the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, in Rochester, New York, and worked as an associate attorney in litigation in Buffalo, New York.
